Tom Onslow-Cole continues as Brand Ambassador for 2019
British exhaust manufacturer Milltek Sport has announced that it is to retain multi-championship winning GT racer Tom Onslow-Cole as its brand ambassador and test driver for the 2019 season. ‘TOC’, as he’s known to his many fans, has been a big part of Milltek’s brand line-up for some eight years now – and performs many varied duties for the Derbyshire based firm, increasing their brand awareness though a multitude of multimedia and physical activities.
In addition to creating numerous media and social opportunities throughout the year, TOC will also be proudly wearing the company’s distinctive logo on his helmet and overalls in what looks like a very busy race season ahead. With 15 high-profile pan-European events already confirmed - including all seven rounds of the International GT Open Series, 2019 already looks like a stellar year for the popular and successful driver.
As well as showcasing the brand from his usual spot on the podium, Tom will bring his knowledge and capabilities to enhance Milltek’s product development. Tom’s input has been a key factor in assisting Milltek perfect the finished product they create. Allied to this are several other new and exciting plans to increase brand awareness and customer engagement throughout 2019 through a series of new projects to be unveiled as the season unfolds.
As well as giving his tens of thousands of real and virtual fans access to his role within this global manufacturer, TOC hasn’t forgotten his key task – namely to be the man that performs final road and track sign-off on each new Milltek design. As a driver that can truly take a car to the literal edge of its performance envelope, it’s fair to say that TOC brings a higher level of ‘stress testing’ to the R&D process than most mere mortals.
